Grey Hair Already?

Where did this grey hair come from?

This weekend was so super busy I am exhausted. Our pipe is clogged up and a friend (NF from previous post) was helping me with laundry. Instead of me sitting in a laundry mat, she washed and dried clothes for me during the week while she was at home and I paid her. Yesterday I was folding the clothes and sorting them out and founds some interesting things. I found barbie purse, hair brush, ink pen, 2 barbie shoes (they didn't match), belt, 2 condoms. Yeah my thought exactly. WTF? Superdaddy and Bubba were out hunting and I looked at "the find" and was trying to decide what to do. Bubba is 14 and we have had "that talk" and I did offer to go to the store and get some for him. I just was shocked. The thought did cross my mind about Superdaddy seeing how he is on the road more than he is home. When Superdaddy called, I mentioned to him to talk to Bubba and being responsible and such. Then I was thinking...SD (sperm donor) was just 15 when I got pregnant with Bubba. Please Lord, grant me patience to deal with puberty.

Cannot get much worse

Go ahead and laugh. I guess if I cannot laugh about it, I will cry. Today on my way to work I ran out of gas. Never mind Superdaddy doesn't get paid until tomorrow (if OO sends his check in the mail) other wise we have no cash until Tuesday. I guess when the gas light comes on, it means gas NOW not after work. Top it off...Halloween dance with 25 giggling girl scouts is tonight.

Funny part, same place just on opposite sides of the light that my aunt ran out of gas on Monday.

This week sure has been sucky.

Venting

There has to be some crap in the air we breathe. Something that is causing bitchiness and stress. I cannot take it much more. My mother is driving me nuts!!! She is so cranky lately. She hangs up the phone on me one more time and I will go postal. Un-freekin-believable.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

I am not coping and IT SUCKS!!

Rambling

Ever felt like you were suffocating? Like there was no light at the end of the tunnel? The other shoe has fallen and you have yet recovered from the first shoe?

Not coping today.

Shits and Giggles

As promised the pictures of mom's truck. Notice the kids washing the truck at the car wash. Notice Chicky in her pretty "church" dress walking in front of grandma's truck at the car wash.

This is the long shot from the sidelines at the car wash. This is what it looked like. So you get the picture. Notice Bubba and his sexy doo. The boys in background screwing around seeing who can get who soaked with the hose.

Ahhh...the end result. The cops said no pictures in the impound lot. My vigilante mother, who at the request of supermommy, smuggled a camera into the lot and took requested pictures.

Who has the engine? Windshield wiper? How about the battery? Transmission anyone?

Bastards used superdaddy's tow strap see the green thing? Where are the wheels?

We found tires! Where is the cap to the bed? Oh yeah, they took the tail gate too. Too bad it didn't stay up.

They left the steering wheel but busted the ignition. What is up with the rope? They took the empty soda cans! The piece next to the glove box was a "slot" that my mom put her sun glasses case in. Probably big enough to hold a box of cigarettes. Apparently the truck they were fixing up needed it.

Rather barren truck if you ask me. Do you think it is worth salvaging? From the date on the wind shield, it was found on Miss J's dad's birthday; 10/15.

You see the ground? There are no wheels the Axel is on the ground.

The truck has been found

1990 Chevy Sierra pickup truck has been found. Damn thing was an antique. Main city by our house found it. Mom called the impound lot and got the scoop.

They took the hood, front end, grill, steering column is busted, the battery, the transmission, all 4 tires and smashed the bed to it. So do you think it is salvageable? We hope to get a picture of it today or tomorrow. I will post it for shits and giggles.

Recapping the weekend

Do I ever need a vacation. This weekend was one that I have been dreading. I have been threatening the girls to go clean their room with trash bags for like ever. This weekend, I followed through and did it. The 5 girls share one giant room. We have a bungalow and they have the entire upstairs. I spend about 5 hours up there on Saturday between running to get Bubba from BS camp to go to home coming dance and picking Superdaddy up at work, I ran out of time.

You want to know what lazy girls I have? They were too lazy to put clean clothes in the dressers. They claimed the drawers were full of clothes that fit and didn't fit. The drawers were EMPTY!! Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. Now I have like 100 loads of laundry to do because of the dog hair. Ugg.

Sunday was spent cleaning the toy boxes out. Another weekend project. Never the less, supermom prevailed and came out like 6 trash bags less and 6 trash bags of toys to donate. Yeah me. Unfortunately, we still have about 3 hours of work left to do. Have to sort through some books and one more pile of toys and then the room will be up to par.

Today will be a very hard day for Miss J. Today is her father's and grandmother's birthday. Both are deceased. RIP Miss J's dad and MIL. We will try to get to the cemetery this weekend or next depending on what happens. Hope your weekend was as productive as mine was/wasn't.

Damn laundry still hasn't figured out how to do itself Hummppphhh!!

Unfreaking believable morning

My mom calls me at 4:54 am and asked me if Superdaddy switched cars with her this morning. Ummm No he is in bed with me. She cusses at me and hangs up. Apparently, she watched her beat up truck drive down the street with some hoodlum stealing it. Crap!!! She had like 5 more minutes and she would have been Jacked in real life person because she would have been leaving for work (yes she does have to be to work at 5:30 am).

Superdaddy gets up and decides to drive down "Main Street" by mom's house and see if he can spot it. Guess what...he did find the truck rolling down the street. He called the local 9-11 and the would not send an officer for a vehicle. HUH? They advised him to back off in case thief has a gun and wait until the thief's abandon it. Well why didn't he think of that? Needless to say, thief lost him in the shuffle. He came home switched cars with me (in case thief recognized big purple car following them). He picked my mom up and they went driving around looking for stolen truck. No luck.

Soooo....my mom is car/truck less, my brother lives on the other side of the world, superdaddy's work truck keeps breaking down, the house payment is past due, Miss J is doing poorly in 4th grade, and PIA is really being a PI my A with the girls and the upcoming Halloween holiday.

Hope everyone in blog land had a pleasant morning unlike Supermommy who was abruptly woken up to a damn car/truck thief in this economic hell hole.

Another strike :(

Today another auto maker went on strike. G.M. slowed down superdaddy's job. And well, I hope this one does not. My uncle works at this one. I certainly hope this ends soon so it doesn't affect their family too much. It will be weird to drive by the plant my dad worked at and see the people walking the line and not see him there. He would be walking tall holding the sign. Why the heck does this have to happen with big holiday's coming up. This just sucks.

Just gettin by

Sheesh where has the time gone. Things have been quiet around our house lately. Superdaddy was gone for just about 10 days due to his error in calculating his time and home 5 days due to G.M. playing catch-up from the strike.

Scouts has started up again seeing how our elementary school hosts our troop, we are trying to get into the swing of things. Ya know, 21 screaming girls for 1 1/2 hours on a Friday evening. Yikes.

The girls have been doing Liturgical dance at church on Monday's all summer. It carried over into the Monday night program. The teacher that was teaching it is still there. The assistant teacher (who coincidentally is my assistant girl scout leader) decided she cannot devote to dance 100%. She would rather go to the adult group because the teacher depended on her too much. What the heck? I depend on her for g.s. too ya know. So low and behold, supermommy who is desperately 25+ lbs over weight taught dance last night and is now paying for it today. Sheesh.

One thing that has been bothering me is something Miss M said on Friday. She was wondering where scouts was going to be. I told her Miss J's school. She was flabbergasted when we pulled up to the old school (the current one). She was very upset that Miss J didn't have to switch schools like they did. How unfair it was and such. That ripped at my heart. My mom took the girls to our city's harvest festival on Saturday while I was working some much needed overtime at work. We haven't had OT in like 5 years or so. I will post a picture of the girls with "the great" pumpkin later today. Hope all is well in "Blog land".

Quiet lately

Things around our house have been mighty quiet lately. Superdaddy has been gone since Wednesday night on the road. He ran out of time this weekend to make it home. Hopefully, he will find his way home tonight.

While picking the girls up from my mom's house, guess who shows up? Miss S did. She was on her way to the library with her friend. She has changed a bunch since the last time I seen her. Wow. Getting all grown up on me. Maybe she will come by this weekend. Who knows.

In other news, my niece got her belly button pierced and quite frankly, I am shocked. She is only 12 1/2 and she wanted it really bad. Her mom took her to get it. WOW.

Without going into details I need to say Hang in there Bro. One day at a time. Things happen for a reason that we may or may never know.
