Here and gone. Here for a brief moment, gone the next.
Weird how the text messages come. I have gotten text messages from 4 people today that I haven't spoken to in almost a year. Weird how people take about 60 whole seconds to type out a text message yet wont place a call.
Santa came to our house and brought lots of presents to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Presents for the kids to fight over. We sang happy birthday to Jesus with the kids and all. Too bad this year wasn't about family like it usually is. It really is getting to be too much with the COMMERCIALISM of the whole season.
Seems like the kids are learning more about what really is important for the holidays and for that I am thankful. Well I hope everyone out in Cyber land had a merry Christmas and Santa was good to them. God Bless and keep you!

Everyone wants money and it SUCKS!!
I guess in a round about way, it is good that he has been gone for going on 3 weeks. I miss him dearly, more than words can say. Bills...bills...and more bills. Then there DQ. MONEY...MONEY...MONEY.
BOY OH BOY DO I HATE EX'S
The point......
The sherrif's office was just here to serve and claim a warrent for superdaddy's arrest. For child support. Because she wants all of his arrearages paid up front...NOW. She took him to court knowing he would not be able to attend due to working out of town. Now there is a warrent. Of course it is the week of the holidays. Of course it is the end of the year. Of course we are broke as a joke.
Logically, the only thing we can ask is that his work keep him out of the state until we can pony up the cash. Not practical for him, I or the children, but that is an option.
Until then....Happy holidays out there in cyber land and Blessings to the new year!

So much to do, so little time
Geez, the days keep on coming and going. We have so much to do to keep my family busy now a days. We found out yesterday, superdaddy will be gone on the road until the weekend of Christmas. No weekend congigal visits. :( It will make for a sweet home coming. Our tree is up (just no lights still) and decorated with all new ornaments this year as we still have no lights on it and the only things on it are the newly made ornaments.
Things are starting to look up as there are many "blessed Santa clause's" blessing our family this year. Some how things are coming together when I really didn't think they would in time. Generosity from other people has me in awwe. God is good and so are friends.

Doing the right thing
Ever do something that you know was right and fell like committing political suicide afterwards? Even though I know it was right to say it, I still feel that way.
A friend of mine recently lost her job; some people were commenting some pretty rotten comments about her. Stupid shit like she only wanted the free lunches from the reps. Offer food and she would be first in line. About how she would embarrass the department at the party because of getting hammered. I stood up for her. I told them how I felt and that it was wrong to gossip and say mean things.
I mean, lets face it, anyone who is pretty broke like free lunches just as well as the next guy. Offer a free meal and I AM SO THERE!!!
My friend and I talked about the whole Holiday party and drinking issue. How it is a terrible idea to get hammered with your coworkers. Well, someone was saying that my friend as asking everyone for their drink tickets. WTF?
Noone commented about the "well respected" coworker who RSVP'd for 17 guests so she could have more than 2 drink tickets. I think 2 drinks per person is more than enough. Especially in our line of business; especially when you have to drive home.
So I did the right thing and now they are treating me like crap and probably saying stuff about me too. There is so much politics at work now a days; Almost worse than High School Drama B.S.
I KNOW I DID THE RIGHT THING!!

Quite the weekend
Where to begin...This weekend was not at all what was supposed to be like. The step-children did not come until Sunday. Saturday superdaddy came home from Missouri and didn't get to the yard until almost 11 pm. We had an argument on the phone and well...it was ugly. I went to pick him up and drove home in a very quiet car. This whole weekend was really quiet as it was an ugly argument.
Sunday when the kids woke up it was nice to surprise them with daddy being home. The step-kids came too and got a surprise. I put his clothes in the washer and got ready to go to church. We couldn't find his phone. Instead of going to church, he went down to the truck to see if he left it in there. He didn't find it.
After church we went to have breakfast with Santa and take the step-kids home. The morning went by so fast. Needless to say still no phone. Getting him packed up to leave again on Sunday we found his phone (in the washer YIKES). Things just cannot go the right way for one day. His phone is history unless of course you need a vib. Anyways, he is off and running again (with an old phone) until this weekend hopefully.
Hopefully things will get back to semi-normal. I need normalcy for a little bit. Thanks for stopping by...ADIOS!!
